Contrary to popular  thinking, there is no difference between 2, 3 or 6 meals a day.  Fasting – short term, under 60 hours)  is actually good for you and will speed you metabolic rate (short-term).  I have found this to be true for me on a personal level as I often do not feel hungry until 9-10am, even though I get up at 4-5am usually.  By conventional low carb wisdom I should eat within a ouple of hours of rising and have 3 meals and snacks every day.  Instead, I rise early, have plenty of water, eat brunch and dinner at night.  If I am hungry I snack on a few slices of ham or cheese.
